Endurance is KeyThe General Manager from The BMW Store in downtown Vancouver has a little project on the go. This is his 2001 BMW 330i endurance race car. Scheduled to run in the 2008 "25 hours at Thunderhill" race in Willow, CA this car will show its true colors.
With three basic engine modifications, an intake, headers, and a light weight flywheel we tuned this car to get the most out of it while keeping things completely reliable. We tend to see bone stock 330's putting down close to 200 wheel Horse power, this race version was making 232 wheel HP and 245 Lbs Ft after we retuned it. Completely gutted and caged, this car feels quite brisk, and definitely solid through the corners, its complete racing suspension gives the car amazing handling. After the cars 25 hour maiden voyage around Thunderhill, it will be parked in The BMW Store's showroom for all to see. GalleryVideoDyno Graphs |
