Might be a dumb question but can you actually hear the switch in the TPS click as you move the throttle from slightly open to completely closed? Given your other posts I expect you have already tried adjusting the TPS position on the shaft so that it closes properly but I thought I'd check anyway.

Is the transition from 1000 to 1200 RPM sudden or very gradual as the engine warms up - ie does it coincide with the ECU going into closed-loop operation? If it does, what happens if you disconnect the O2 sensor at the plug on the inlet manifold side of the block?
