e24 BMW M6 with MAF installed- BMW Performance Results
The e24 M6 definitely stand out amongst the crowd of older generation euro cars. For the day, the engine is quite impressive, however, the factory AFM is purely a poor design. We had a chance to dyno an e24 M6 before and after our MAF install. Originally, the car came in with a Dinan Chip, and the Dinan cam gear. A popular combination for the M6. When we were done, it had our MAF chip, obviously our MAF system and the Dinan Cam gear. If you thought that an already "chipped" car would only see a minor hairline increase in power, well you are wrong. The M6 came in with 228HP and 228 Ft.Lbs but left with 242HP and 238 Ft.Lbs! Now imagine the gains compared to a bone stock M6.
