Miller Performance has been known for their skill and knowledge applicable to the older generation BMW cars. They have always been able to cater to newer models but their passion is for the e34 Chassis. However, Miller Performance has stepped into the scene of modern BMW cars. Better late then never! With a great software engineers, Miller Performance is able to bring the one of, if not, the most high power tunes for an N/A e46 M3. This special tune and product allow for the most power to be made on a stock internal e46 M3. Pushing up to an additional 35 HP out of the M3's beautiful power plant this is a serious N/A tune.
Our base performance software yields more power and more torque than leading tuners; some of whom claim embarrasing 1 ft.lbs gains. Our ultra performance software packages far exceeds our base performance tune making anyone wonder why settle for less.
Here is a Car that had our special tune and the Hamann Intake manifold. This is also what spawned up to create such a power throbbing tune.
A desperate M3 has driven 900km from Calgary, Alberta for some much needed tuning. The customer is the third owner of the car, and imported it into Canada from the US. When the car was a baby, it was shipped over to Germany where the original owner was stationed for 8 months. While it was there, the owner decided to let Hamann juice up the car. He brought it back state side and was eventually sold. Our client purchased the car and loved how it felt. Nothing like any other M3 he had driven. The power - the response - the handling, all to die for.
Here is where the lovely story takes a dive. In order to import a BMW to Canada, one must bring the car to a BMW dealership for a "letter of admissibility," and a Federal Inspection. With a cost of $500 for a simple letter and $500 for a basic inspection, BMW Canada also charges absurd amounts for the Gauge cluster to be changed to KM/h and to turn on the Day time running lights.
All of this can be done by a BMW repair shop, but BMW won't issue a letter of admissibility without having the car come to a dealership. The customer had all the work performed at his trusted BMW garage, and when he brought the car to BMW, he demanded them NOT to flash the ECU in fear of losing the tune. Uneasy with leaving his car with BMW Canada, the customer was worried they wouldn't listen. Sure enough, when the customer picked up his car, he knew right away they flashed his ECU. The car was not the car it used to be. With multiple check engine lights now on, the car running like a bag of pigs, no one in the Calgary area could help his situation. All the shops suggested ripping everything off and going with a Dinan set-up.
Luckily, our customer stumbled upon one of our Calgary dealers and was referred to us. Now it is up to us to have this car back in tune, and ready to go for the long drive back to Calgary.
With the above mentioned car making 332Whp (369 BHP) and 270 Wtq of torque this is the apitomy of what can be done on stock internals and pump gas in a naturally aspirated state. This special tune will be available in three stages.
