I have found the WAR chip to be not only an excellent value but a very valuable tuning tool. A product is only as good as its service support team and with this product the support is there for the pro or the DIY tuner. Local support came from my longtime friends Jeff Ireland and Jeremy Chandler at Ireland Engineering and then direct product support came directly from Dan Miller and Brody Saari. The Miller performance team follows up on email inquiries in a timely manner and is very willing to help. After I made camshaft, intake and fuel system modifications to my OBD1 S52 for horsepower increases, a dyno day was easily arranged with Dan Miller during one of his frequent visits to Southern California. Dan dialed in my fuel curve and tune in order to get my WAR chip operating to perform the way it should. Since then, I have been able to rewrite a few variations of Dan’s baseline tune. At the track I am able to quickly hook up my laptop and make fine adjustments and build up my own library of tunes for quick uploading.
